O+D Builders continues to provide General Contracting services to Montefiore Medical Center. Some of the projects completed are a new Cardiology space and the renovation of a hematology space, among others.
Renowned cardiologist, Dr. Steven Shayani engaged O+D Builders for the renovation of multiple locations of his cardiology practice. The scope of work included physician’s offices, examination rooms, patient rooms, ultrasound/MRI rooms complete with lead shielding, a state-of-the-art sleep center and a complete stress test facility including several treadmills and exercise equipment to monitor patients. EKG rooms and blood work labs were also renovated in the 15,000sf Garden City facility. Dr. Shayani’s practice consists of 70 cardiologists and is affiliated with Winthrop University Hospital, North Shore/LIJ, Mt. Sinai Hospital and St. Anthony’s Medical Center.
O+D Builders constructed several wet labs which were used for controlled environmental testing for the Hospital. The facility was constructed for interns use for educational purposes. The labs were fully operational and up to code.
O+D Builders is the selected general contractor for the full gut renovation of the healthcare facility for all hotel trade union employees. Additional work included front of house work, a new exterior and sidewalk and administrative offices. This healthcare facility was fully operational during construction with careful attention paid to dust mitigation.
Complete upgrade and renovation of an11,000sf existing three story building in East New York. The existing condition of this facility was extremely dilapidated and run down. Scope of work included bringing the Center up to code, including complete ADA compliance. Examination rooms, dental offices, conference rooms and physician’s offices were completely renovated. This project was partially funded by New York State.
New building construction for a 35,000sf nursing home in Brooklyn. In addition to the new building, scope of work included extension to existing facility, patient rooms, physician offices, exam rooms, pantry, dining halls and physical therapy areas.
